S/he is a teacher.  .او اُستاد هَست
They are teachers.  .آنها اُستاد هَستَند   

 You are (singular) a student  .تو دانشجو هَستی

 You are students.  .شُما دانِشجو هَستید 

I am a teacher. .مَن اُستاد هَستم 
We are students.  .ما دانِشجو هَستیم

Simple Present of “to be” 

هَستَند They are	هَست – اَست He/She is
هَستید You all are	هَستی You are
هَستیم We are	هَستَم I am
